NBC Universal’s Third Annual Comedy Short Cuts Film Festival (www.comedyshortcuts.net), is a unique showcase of short, comedic films and videos produced with a culturally diverse production team, cast, or theme.

NBC Universal uses this festival as a pipeline for uncovering and developing diverse talent in front of and behind the camera.

Semi-finalists films will be screened before an industry audience in New York in September in conjunction with the New York Television Festival and finalists will be sent to Los Angeles for an exclusive industry screening in October on the Universal Studios lot.

The winning filmmaker will be given the chance to pitch to NBC comedy development and meet with NBC Universal’s top network, studio, cable, and film executives.  Additional prizes and opportunities are soon to be announced.  Check the website for a complete list of partners and prizes from our 2007 festival.
